Rev. Paula Lawrence is an engaging speaker and teacher with a wide variety of spiritual and metaphysical knowledge. Her heartfelt desire is to help others evolve spiritually. She shares what she has learned through life experience, A Course in Miracles, the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Ascended Masters. Many feel her talks are rooted in wisdom; and that they can apply that wisdom in their everyday life.  

Rev. Susan Firth is a dynamic speaker.  As a result of her dedication, studies, life experience, spiritual and metaphysical knowledge she is able to share with us the wisdom she has gained.

Rev. Elizabeth Brown was ordained in 2009. As a speaker, she is uplifting and brings to her listeners a breath of fresh air.

Rev. Timothy Steensma has studied with some of the top teachers. He uses his wide array of experiences to help motivate and relate to his audiences. Having faced many challenges in his life, his intent is to show people that they can overcome, continue to have Hope and Faith in the Divine, themselves, and in humanity and thrive.

Rev. Thomas Janssen was ordained in 1992. Some of his studies and many interests include: science, philosophy, all religious beliefs, Native American Spirituality and A Course In Miracles.  He is a Reiki Master and is trained in several other methodologies. Thomas says, “It all connects into Oneness, God is the Creative Force at the source of everything, the All that Is.”

Reverend Kim Brown was raised as a fundamentalist Christian; however, in her youth she always knew there was more. About 13 years ago, Spirit began to work with her, with what she had learned in those younger years. That’s when her spiritual journey began. As a speaker Rev. Kim shares from her heart, and her goal is to inspire in practical, day to day ways.

Charlie Brown believes that the best talks are those that are pertinent to our times.  His talks are provocative and speak to everyone’s spiritual journey.  He feels he is blessed, for Spirit brings to him the topic and discussion points for his talks. Charlie is a very gifted healer who keeps his heart open.

Rev. Pat Cork is a Happyholic at the core. She is a committed student of A Course In Miracles; and feels that, as a result, she understands that all God wants is for us to be happy. She shares her happiness with The Gathering through her talks.

Rev. Pamela Taylor is an ordained minister and astrologer. Robert Taylor is a reader of the mystical Brighu Yantra, an ancient Indian Oracle and astrologer. The two of them together are a dynamic source of wisdom and inspiration.

David Winfree is a kind, gentle and powerful soul. He is a spiritual teacher, author and has served as a guest speaker at Theosophical groups around the country on behalf of the Theosophical Society of America’s National Speakers Bureau. David authored the book, The Evolution of the Human Energy Field and Humanity’s Ultimate Destiny, and is currently writing his new book.

Rev. Paula Lawrence

Rev. Paula Lawrence is a New Thought Minister, “A Course In Miracles”* student and facilitator. She is an accomplished public speaker with several years of experience conducting workshops and classes on various spiritual and metaphysical topics.

While teaching at Macomb Community College, she served on the College’s Speakers Bureau, speaking at local businesses, hospitals, schools and senior homes. Paula believes that if she can help people open their hearts and minds to the awareness that everyone uniquely contributes to life, and that all are worthy of love and respect, then they too can experience the joy and peace of God intended for all of creation.

Rev. Paula formed The Gathering Spiritual Center because she is devoted to helping people realize their true potential and identity as a child of God. Her spiritual journey began when she was guided to the teachings of A Course In Miracles and her studies of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. The relationship between these studies served as her inspiration to help bring awareness to how our thoughts create our reality.

Through her speaking and teaching, Rev. Paula’s passion is to inspire awareness, understanding, love and compassion, and to ultimately guide others down a path to unity and inclusiveness. Paula is a gifted healer who leads with her heart. She is a spiritual counselor, Master Certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming**, and a Reiki Master. Paula has completed all 8 levels of Esoteric Healing***. She is certified to teach “The Seven Keys to Understanding the Bible” from the Semitic/Near Eastern customs and culture.

Rev. Paula is eternally grateful for her many gifts, and she has devoted her life to being a vessel for the Holy Spirit to work through and enable her to be a clear channel of His/Her love and wisdom. Rev. Paula continues her mission to help illuminate a way of thinking, loving self, others and the world through new eyes.

*A Course In Miracles (ACIM) is a spiritual psychological path to remembering our oneness with God, allowing our true identity to be recognized. A non-dualistic teaching which states that Love is all there is and Love has no opposite.  

The Course was received by Helen Schumann, a Colombian University psychologist, as an inner dictation, which began, “ This is a course in miracles, please take notes.” The scribing of the course took about seven years, The author reveals himself as Jesus (the Christ).  It first was published in 1976 by The Foundation for Inner Peace and is now translated into twenty- five languages.

A Course In Miracles is universal in application. It is not a religion. It is a teaching curriculum that consist of three books, a text, a workbook for students, and a manual for teachers. The Course offers us an understanding, a means to shift perception, and answers that lead to freedom. The course states that it is only one of many thousands of Spiritual paths that all lead to God in the end.
