Rev. Paula Lawrence

Rev. Paula Lawrence is a New Thought Minister, “A Course In Miracles”* student and facilitator. She is an accomplished public speaker with several years of experience conducting workshops and classes on various spiritual and metaphysical topics.

While teaching at Macomb Community College, she served on the College’s Speakers Bureau, speaking at local businesses, hospitals, schools and senior homes. Paula believes that if she can help people open their hearts and minds to the awareness that everyone uniquely contributes to life, and that all are worthy of love and respect, then they too can experience the joy and peace of God intended for all of creation.

Rev. Paula formed The Gathering Spiritual Center because she is devoted to helping people realize their true potential and identity as a child of God. Her spiritual journey began when she was guided to the teachings of A Course In Miracles and her studies of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. The relationship between these studies served as her inspiration to help bring awareness to how our thoughts create our reality.

Through her speaking and teaching, Rev. Paula’s passion is to inspire awareness, understanding, love and compassion, and to ultimately guide others down a path to unity and inclusiveness. Paula is a gifted healer who leads with her heart. She is a spiritual counselor, Master Certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming**, and a Reiki Master. Paula has completed all 8 levels of Esoteric Healing***. She is certified to teach “The Seven Keys to Understanding the Bible” from the Semitic/Near Eastern customs and culture.

Rev. Paula is eternally grateful for her many gifts, and she has devoted her life to being a vessel for the Holy Spirit to work through and enable her to be a clear channel of His/Her love and wisdom. Rev. Paula continues her mission to help illuminate a way of thinking, loving self, others and the world through new eyes.

*A Course In Miracles (ACIM) is a spiritual psychological path to remembering our oneness with God, allowing our true identity to be recognized. A non-dualistic teaching which states that Love is all there is and Love has no opposite.

The Course was received by Helen Schumann, a Colombian University psychologist, as an inner dictation, which began, “ This is a course in miracles, please take notes.” The scribing of the course took about seven years, The author reveals himself as Jesus (the Christ). It first was published in 1976 by The Foundation for Inner Peace and is now translated into twenty- five languages.

A Course In Miracles is universal in application. It is not a religion. It is a teaching curriculum that consist of three books, a text, a workbook for students, and a manual for teachers. The Course offers us an understanding, a means to shift perception, and answers that lead to freedom. The course states that it is only one of many thousands of Spiritual paths that all lead to God in the end.

**Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is the study of how an individual processes information and then experiences the world around them. Understanding this process and through the help of NLP techniques, our thoughts and behaviors can change to create a desired outcome.

***Esoteric Healing is the science of healing through the energy field utilizing spiritual healing principles. This is the energy field that flows through and around us. Esoteric means “hidden, meant to be found”. It heals by removing energetic blocks and brings balance not only on the physical level, but emotional, mental and spiritual. It works with the Rays of God and all the energy centers of the body, soul body, and higher spiritual levels of consciousness.

This November, Rev. Paula was able to present Gleaners with a check for $466 from The Gathering to feed families in need; with Ford Motor Company again matching our donation.

December 2023

Through the generosity of friends and The Gathering family, we presented a check for $415 to Gleaners Food Bank to help feed families in need for Christmas. Our donation is matched this month by the Kroger Company. The November and December donations equal a grand total of $840. This is what we accomplished together. Thank you and God bless you all. November 2023

Through the generosity of our friends and The Gathering family, we were able to present a check for $425 to Gleaners to help feed families in need. Our donation was also matched by Ford Motor Company.

December 2022

This December, The Gathering was able to present Gleaners with another check for $360 to feed families in need; with Ford Motor Company again matching our donation. This makes a total of $885 this holiday season thanks to everyone’s generosity.

November 2022

Through your generosity and beautiful hearts, we were able to give Gleaner $525 to feed families in need this Thanksgiving; and Ford Motor Company matched our donation.

December 2021

Thanks to the generous donations that The Gathering received, Stan Lawrence was able to present a Gathering check for $400 to Gleaners helping families in need.

Thanks to your generosity in 2020, we were able to provide 10 Thanksgiving dinners and 22 Christmas hams for local families. With your loving support we can continue to help those in need.

Classes & Special Events

Acknowledging and working with “The Universal Rays”, also known as “The Rays of God” with Rev. Paula Lawrence

This class will be offered via zoom and in two consecutive Thursday evenings:
Thursday, April 20, 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Thursday, April 27, 7:00 – 9:00 P.M.

The Rays are one of the most powerful forces of energy available to us for healing and transformation. They vary in frequency, color, and character. The study of the Rays is a cosmic/universal science. They can help us gain understanding of our experiences and how their energies are affecting us personally, and conditioning life as a whole.
In this class you will learn about their powers, attributes and the chakras they work with. Class will cover the primary Rays and the higher Rays 8 through 12. Some of the things you will discover in Part 1 will be which Rays are working with you at this time and how they are assisting you to grow.

A donation of $40 is required and must be received by March 9. Please include your email address as handouts will be sent out one day prior to each class.
